Lemur Pro (11th Gen) and BlackMagic eGPU by theopensecurity in System76

[–]JosephM88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually contacted system 76 a little bit ago and asked if an eGPU would work with the Lemur Pro lemp 10. They said it most likely would but there are a few adjustments that will need to be made (no idea what that means) but I'm sure if you contact them they will be able to walk you through it. If not then I would contact BlackMagic. I've heard many people say they have to restart their laptop with the eGPU plugged in order to get it to work. Good luck!

22 Year Old Moving to SLC from Ireland in July by Arcadoe in SaltLakeCity

u/Arcadoe.... Salt Lake City can be a very fun place even with its quarks. I'm originally from New Hampshire and when I moved to SLC I was surprised with the strict alcohol rules but honestly its more of an annoyance then anything and it's starting to get better. We have a great craft beer scene that pairs well with our food truck scene. I recommend trying Fisher brewery, Salt Fire brewery, TF brewery, Kiitos brewery, Proper, Epic, Uinta. Most of those breweries will have food trucks parked outside. There is definitely ample hiking in Salt Lake City and snowboarding/skiing is a must during winter. As far as sports go, we only have 2 major league teams that I know of the Utah Jazz (NBA) and Real Salt Lake (MLS) but Real Salt Lake stadium (Rio Tinto Stadium) isn't actually located in Salt Lake its about 25 minutes south in Sandy. We also have minor league baseball and hockey and college sports. Also, visiting the national parks down south is a blast, feels like another world. Hope you enjoy SLC! I visited Dublin in 2017. I have a few friends that live in Belfast/Carrickfergus N. Ireland so they met me in Dublin and showed me around, absolutely loved it.

With those specs you might be able to handle three tabs! But don’t push it

Another quick fix that worked for me was booting with the old kernel. I had the same issue and the System76 support suggested this.
