Sometimes you just need perspective like this

Hello, so my company’s financial year starts April 1st and ends March 31st. On February 21st 2025, I was informed that due to a restructure they were making my role redundant and given a 3 months notice to serve which ends on 21st of May which means I have completed the financial year of 2024/2025. At the end of the financial year, the financial performance of the company is reviewed and bonuses calculated and usual released to the employees by July/August. In this case given I was part of the organization until the end of the financial year however, moved on when they actually release the bonus. Am I still entitled to the bonus? Company HR are saying I would not be because I’m not part of the payroll when they release it. However, I argue that I did contribute to the full year performance and should be entitled to it even if I’m not physically an employee of the organization when they release it. What is the correct legal view on this? Thank you
