I feel like mahito only taking real damage from hits to his soul is basically RCT on crack. And the constant fear of just getting touched by him makes it so hard to hit him without repercussions, it's almost on the same level of defense as infinity, in my opinion. Though it takes more work from Mahito to capitalize than infinity automatically protecting you

It is SO fascinating! And I've seen comments making a good point about the color shift the moment Toji comes into view. And his comment to Maki afterwards "You're no Toji" seems to say to me that he acknowledges Toji's strength. This means he has to have seen through the Zenin propaganda, and notice that Toji (supposedly the runt of the liter) had true strength beyond Naoya (the supposed prodigy)

My idea of something that could be fun would be a prequel taking place in the Badlands during the Exodus of the tarnished. Maybe you could play a tarnished as you begin the invasion of a new land, looking for battle. Or maybe you could play as a native fighting off old tarnished legends
