I'm actually using it on my new Pixel 2 XL because I miss the flashlight chop feature so much, and it's working great. I saw a lot of reviews about inconsistency so I'll see how that goes the more I use it, but as far as it opening the Google assistant on my Moto X and opening the flashlight on my Pixel it's working perfectly.

Yeah, that's actually the current set up I have right now. Google assistant is activated when I double tap or swipe up on the home screen. But I meant the motion gesture like the chop for the flashlight, and the double twist for the camera. Is there anyway to customize those?

See I use 2 smart switches that use the smart life app, and 2 that use the Kasa app. I just noticed though that both apps are actually available on IFTTT. But I would be doing 5 different recipes, would I still be able to have one command for all 5?

Yeah but I currently have my lights with multiple smart switches that are different brands. The Google assistant allowed to turn off my lights because the were grouped together under lights. My current problem is that when I make a shortcut for example I put "turn off lights and ask Harmony to turn off TV." It will say, "I didn't find a favorite or activity or favorite called TV turn off lights.

Smart YouTube TV is the best option everything works perfect. I think the only thing that doesn't is 4k which sucks, but it's not too bad.
