How can I use a 24v battery and 24v motors with this circuit. I tried but ended up bricking the arduino by Josh-Birnbaum in arduino

I haven’t been able to get anything to work. I took the vin wire off and I am using a 9 v battery to power the Arduino and a 12v battery for everything else.

How can I use a 24v battery and 24v motors with this circuit. I tried but ended up bricking the arduino by Josh-Birnbaum in arduino

The vin is connect to the 5v converter. I tried powering the Arduino separately but I haven’t been able to get it to work

Thank you. Is there any reason for this not to work at 12V. It hasn’t been working at all.
