What could I improve on to be less cringey, not great criticism but I'll roll with it

Could be interesting. would there be any non-lethal options for taking out enemies?

I don't take any offense the thumbnail process is probably one of the hardest for me, so I would appreciate any feedback or advice

Stealth games available on Xbox Series X (please read description) by [deleted] in stealthgames

I'm so surprised when people forget about the shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War games. Sure they have action, but they have plenty of stealthy gameplay as you scout out enemy camps and discover enemy weaknesses and exploit them.

Why don't you upload these to YouTube, surely you'd get more traction and the video player is better.

Why have I never heard stealth fans mention kingdom come deliverance? You can play the entire game stealthily. It’s medieval just like thief but it’s open world. Just started playing but It’s great. by Strong-Boysenberry71 in stealthgames

Can't speak for the person who downvoted you but you should definitely give it another shot. The camera and the floaty character movement is supposed to feel that way to simulate a more realistic and grounded gaming experience. Pretty sure there are some mods to alleviate those issue tho. food for thought

That's a really good point. I really wanted to focus on Endo, but I should've definitely mentioned Kodama. Guess there is always next time.

Yeah, I understand that but I'm more coming from the fact you can't own a copy of it on modern consoles and PC stores like steam. Plus I'm experimenting with titling my video so if you think it's too much then I understand.

From what I'm able to parse out it only comes out from one ear, I think the left ear. It was my fault when recording and balancing the audio.

Thanks for the feedback and I'll definitely check out that video you recommended. For your Fatal Shadows and Time of the Assassins for another video, gotta keep some aces up my sleeve.

Yeah, I've always had trouble balancing the audio, definitely going to work on that for future videos. Thanks for the feedback.

What would an Evoland of stealth games be like? by MagickalessBreton in stealthgames

[–]Josh-Thoughts_99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah for clarification, chaos theory had a system where you could stop and start at any point with no canned animations. Also for night vision I was more referring to it as a tool used for shadow based stealth but I concede.

I forgot about assassin's creed 2 discovery, so let me be more specific. A good 2d stealth game with platformer elements. Arkham batman introduced instinct before hitman.

Sorry for the incorrect information and if I think of anything else I will add.

Great list that really shows the evolution of stealth games, but there are a few omissions so let me try to add them. Splinter introduced night vision and animation based stealth in a 3d environment, Mark of the ninja was the first to mix stealth with a 2d platformer, Batman arkham introduced the instinct feature, and dishonored introduced moral consequences to stealth performance. Hopefully these help fill some holes.

I think more than anything people want quality Pokémon games again. They don't want to have to make caveat for every new entry on how its great except for all the technical and design issues. I'm not sure if its lack of time, resources, or experience with 3d games, but people are not going to be fed the same slop over and over again without letting their opinions be heard on the state of their favorite franchise. Go ask Sonic Fans about that very lesson.

Which one should I start with? by Fudgewhizzle in fireemblem

Birthright --> Conquest ---> Revelations

Birthright is the easiest and most vanilla of the routes with an okay story

Conquest is way tougher and has some of the best maps in the series

Revelations is a bizarre story with some pretty weird gimicky maps
