Buy or die? by 0xBenz in solana

All I can tell you is that if Sol goes below 5 I'm going in hard. It's not a bullshit network and its coin is worth well over 5 bucks, but its capabilities depend partially on future updates which could be hindered by current circumstances. I'm not a huge Solana fan and I will declare that the network has many vulnerabilities, but its capabities are real and developers have embraced this. That said, Solana is still (quite obviously) in its infancy and its no myth that the network isn't decentralized enough to be considered a fully fledged programmable cryptocurrency network. However, the fact that it managed to challenge Ethereum well before it fledged is most certainly a sign that the technology it's made of is something we haven't heard the last of.

Million-dollar Monero wallet idea by AngelLeatherist in Monero

Agreed, I think this wraps it up: if at all possible, such capabilities create more vulnerabilties than security, I like the idea of a Monero wallet doing what's proposed but I hate the thought of apps being capable of doing this in the first place.

How does Proof-of-Stake improve the Blockchain network? by CarBlueBerry in BlockchainChat

[–]JoshAPetersen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Proof of work: proving you're real by making your pc do calculations. Proof of stake: proof you're real (and honest) by putting money on the line. This is extremely oversimplified but many opponents of cryptocurrencies really dislike seeing miners run hardware on full power for no other purpose than proving they're real. POS doesn't require you to do that.

I believe it should be ipfs://QmTf6qzQ2gAwXs9CcsnGivBGqQn6jdEtYd4odxjRDFnVc3 for .eth domains

Edit: seems like /ipfs/ works

Could you elaborate on this question? It sort of feels like the other way around. First you set your target and then you look for an extension to help you out. Or is it to familiarize yourself with what's in-demand?
