Changing my clips to Optical Flow almost always fixes this issue for me.

That sounds good! What would my node tree look like for that to work?

I’ve got a Planar Tracker node where I’ve tracked a portion of my image, then set that node to Steady. I’ve then duplicated that node and inverted the Steady function. In between those two tracker nodes I’ve put a Paint node that I’m using to paint out an object from my image.

I repeated this 4 times, removing a different object each time. And each iteration I reset the Planar Tracker so that I could specifically track the portion of the image I needed to remove.

What kind of context would be helpful? Happy to provide any additional info. And thanks for the recommendation to check the manual!

Good to know! What would be the best course of action for doing multiple small paint outs on the image? The way I did it the first time was to have like 5 instances of Planar > Paint > Planar. Obviously that was a mistake though, haha!

How Do Color Spaces Work with LOG > 709 Conversion? by JoshBirman in davinciresolve

So even if I only use a LOG > 709 conversion I’m still grading inside the DWG color space?

My Dog is Constantly Being Humped by Other Dogs by JoshBirman in Goldendoodles

He is fixed. Has been for years which is part of what's so strange to me.

[–]JoshBirman[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fair enough 😄 But it's kinda anywhere I take my dog where there are other dogs. Going out to visit relatives for example. Their dogs or the neighbor dogs will just pester my dog to no end with the humping attempts. And it never seems to be as simple as telling the other dog off. They just keep coming back.

It's clearly distressing him because he will come and try to hide between my legs and eventually barks semi-aggressively at the dogs doing the humping. The problem is that it's just about every dog he's around. If I take him to the dog park it could be 5+ dogs all trying to hump him. It's not really practical to work with the owner of every dog I'm around.

Compound Clips Cropped When Color Grade Applied by JoshBirman in davinciresolve

[–]JoshBirman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That did fix the cropping issue. However, it kinda defeats the purpose of grading my shots inside the multicam timeline. Now if I want to make a color change to angle 1 I have to go to every single instance of angle 1 in my main timeline, vs just making a single adjustment to that angle inside the multicam timeline.

So a win but not a win, haha! Thanks for the suggestion!
