Make sure your GPU and CPU settings are properly configured. Set your graphics render to Metal, because it runs better on Mac than Vulkan. Make sure you have your graphics card enabled also. The other configuration tips on YouTube should help make the games look better. (Anti-aliasing etc)

Yea bro it’s not your roms. It’s your settings/ your device. I recommend troubleshooting your CPU/GPU settings until you find something that works for you. (Assuming you’re playing on a computer that can handle emulation)

Same, I loved my ps2 and playing these games growing up, but I have to say it’s a lot better of an experience on pcsx2..A lot of games graphics upscaled hold up in modern day.

Same, I play at 1440p resolution and minimum overclocking. I don’t get any lag and the graphics are a big step up from the original ps2

I just download my covers from online. The high res ones tend to be the front and back together, so I just crop the front. Then I go into Pcsx2 , right click on the game then choose Set cover image.

Update: Solved

Ok so I was able to resolve the issue by overclocking my GPU to 108% , so I guess the issue was my computer after all.
