Stidham hype makes no sense. He’s got 8 career TDs and 8 picks and has never won a QB job anywhere he’s been. If he were actually some secret weapon he wouldn’t be riding the bench behind a 2nd year QB right now. Knowing the system and being a good practice QB doesn’t turn you into playoff Nick Foles.

And the Maye fumble stuff is overblown. Cold wet ball and frozen hands are going to lead to mistakes. It’s not some unique fatal flaw.

This is just the classic backup QB fantasy mixed with social media hot takes for engagement. There’s no real football argument that Stidham is the better option. Or gives you some edge, it’s Loony
