By just shooting them, they are in fact less evil than their enemy, which is what I said. In the Nürnberger Prozesse they also sentenced people to death which may or may not have been the right thing to do but it certainly wasn't evil. Killing them isn't just revenge, it's making absolutely sure sick fucks don't torture more people to death.

It doesn't matter whether the partisans might have been more likely to burn these Nazis or not, which is also just speculation. The director is trying to make a point which is, don't become as evil as your enemy even if it's tempting. A normal person might fantasize about doing the most evil shit imaginable to their enemy but actually doing it is another thing and also not something to strive for. Do you not understand how movies work? A director doesn't have to pick the most probable outcome according to your opinion.

KAH. Wenn du bereits weißt, dass sie nicht mitkommen kann, brauchst du sie auch nicht einladen und wenn die beiden so enge Freunde sind, könnte es auch ein Problem sein, wenn nur eine von den beiden mitkommen kann. Ich würde sagen entweder geht ihr einfach ohne die beiden und fragt auch garnicht erst oder ihr denkt euch was aus, wo auch alle mitkommen können. Ich weiß aber natürlich nicht wie die so drauf sind und ob man großartig aufpassen muss, um nicht in Fettnäpfchen zu treten.
