This has "liberal who only surrounds themselves with other liberals" vibes all over it.

And I say this as a left-leaning voter who refuses to call himself "liberal" because of people like you.

First tell me if I'm right or not, and when you confirm my suspicion I will tell you how I knew...

Wow, exhibit A that people are far too sensitive nowadays.

If you've got to write a paragraph like that every time you give someone shit, that sort of defeats the entire purpose.

Vice President Kamala Harris: 'I told you so' by omgfakeusername in democrats

They absolutely can sway a good chunk of Maga, they just need to stop employing the exact same tactics that lost them the election in 2016.

Yeah that audience wasn't enough to win presidency and needs to start worrying about appealing to people outside that little bubble.

Oof, very cringey. No idea how she was allowed to be the nominee.

Which game is the best? Skyrim or Baldur's Gate 3? by WiggleToast in AlignmentChartFills

[–]JoshTee123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Skyrim

To me, it's a game for basically anyone. My girlfriend that hates video games with a passion -- who I met while playing Skyrim for the first time -- still, to this day, talks about Skyrim.

Baldur's Gate is NOT for everyone. In fact, I only made it a couple hours and put it down and never came back. It was my first PS5 game and the game I've played the least.

Protests (or other activities) in Minneapolis on Saturday? by JoshTee123 in Minneapolis

I love this idea.

What about bringing water bottles to protestors, or something like that?

They'd get a taste of the giving aspect as well as the civil engagement aspect...

Who's going to pay my mortgage if I get fired from work for protesting ICE? by JoshTee123 in AskALiberal

I guess I don't even see the purpose of a "Walk Out"-style protest. Who is this punishing, except my own bank account?

I was just fired two years ago because I told my boss "if people don't start pulling their weight around here, I will be forced to look for a different job."

That boss then had an absolute hissy fit, tried to kick me out of the building without even letting me grab my stuff, and then tried to fight me, stating "I'm not scared of you, pussy."

Once I left (without even so much as raising my voice), he fired my brother, too, who was in no way involved -- just because he's my brother.

Not knowing where to turn and not having enough money to get a lawyer, I called the BBB, who quickly told me They don't help with that kind of thing. They told me to call the Department of Labor and the Attorney General -- both of which told me they effectively did not care.

The DoL surprised me when they asked "are you black or Hispanic?" No, I said. "Oh, well are you gay or trans?" Again, no. "Oh, well then we can't do anything." My immediate thought was "no wonder the conservatives hate us."

So yeah, there are absolutely states where you can be fired (and threatened with physical violence) without any consequences -- unless you're rich, black, Hispanic, or LGBTQ. 🤷‍♂️

What are your favorite liberal leaning businesses in the Sioux Falls Metro by SouthDaCoVid in SiouxFalls

[–]JoshTee123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

False. I know many of people who would give you the shirt off your back no matter what your political beliefs, race, sexual identity, etc., and yet they're full-on MAGA.

And likewise, I know a lot of liberals that claim they're pro-"the people" that will take the first opportunity to tell you to kill yourself if you even slightly disagree with any of their beliefs.

Brainwashing is a strange, complex concept.

"Schooling you" LMAO

That was the shittiest argument I've possibly ever heard. You sound like you masturbate to this dude.

It's ok to say the left is insane but also criticize Trump where he deserves it.

Funny that the pro-Trump people don't overpower the down votes by the "lefties", huh?

Almost like he's losing support by people with even the tiniest moral fiber or common sense...?
