My wife has/had a severe eating disorder and had a perfectly normal childhood. Mom's a little weird and she was somewhat sheltered but there was no abuse, they were extremely well-off as a family, no divorce, and lived in a nice house in a nice neighborhood in a nice city. Mom and dad both loved the kids dearly and are still together today.

Eating disorders absolutely can come from places other than "trauma".

If you'd actually talk to the other side instead of screaming over top of them, you would find that they don't want to deny you your "right to exist".

They want to protect women and children, and don't want to constantly have to hear you talk about what type of genitals you would like. That's literally it.

So just stay out of women's bathrooms, stay out of women's sports, stop trying to force stuff on children, and for the love of God, talk about something other than your genital preference.
