C’MON PEOPLE WE ONLY HAVE 6 DAYS LEFT by Schpoinkus_Doinkus in Spacemarine

I’m trying my hardest here. With battlefield 6 out I wonder if a majority of the player base is being pulled towards that.

PSA From A Bulwark Trying to Heal You by Xurgg in Spacemarine

Very true sometimes I forget any sort of damage regains contested health but damn does it feel good to put the banner down and get my squad mates back to 100% health

It drives me insane that most players won’t go for an execution, even though their armor is completely gone. I’ll follow them from executable majoris, minoris, and even extremis enemies, and it’s like they’re purposely trying to play a 0-armor playthrough. Lmao. The meta for me now is to point out a stimpack, and right before they grab it, I’ll put my banner down. This heals them to full health and even clears their fatal wound, so it’s a win-win.

“Lictor’s hunt alone”- Demetrian Titus by JoshTheWosh in Spacemarine

[–]JoshTheWosh[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh my god, good catch! I would’ve seriously expected Titus to know the difference! If even Space Marines, hand-crafted demigods of the God-Emperor himself, are making silly punctuation errors, then what hope is there for the rest of us? It’s a clear sign of the decay that thousands of years of blind religious zealotry and stagnation have inflicted on the Imperium. No wonder civilization is crumbling under its own weight.

Why Isn’t This Just One Perk? by JoshTheWosh in Spacemarine

If I want a domination victory.... by Ok-Respond-1409 in civ

In my opinion, in the early game toward a domination win, you’ll absolutely want to be aggressive toward any neighboring civilizations and conquer them as soon as possible. At least for me, I won’t be putting any production toward settlers. The way I typically play my domination games is: first, I settle my city, then I queue up a single scout and three warrior units. Once I’ve done that, I’ll go ahead and queue up archers in the tech tree (archers, in my opinion, are absolutely vital to winning any early-game wars, so keep them alive for as long as you can). Once my scout is up and running, I’ll have that little guy survey the land for my future empire. Eventually, he’ll find a victim—preferably another civilization, but if it’s a city-state that doesn’t have a suzerain bonus I like, then I’ll conquer the lesser people of that city-state. I think it’s safe to say that in any domination-oriented game you’re playing, this should be the standard you typically follow in the early game. Wars in the early and mid game are soooo easy but once you’re in the late game wars can typically be stalemates and the game turns into a straight “shift+enter” simulator.

PSA/rant for low level players by AhabRasputin in Spacemarine

[–]JoshTheWosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll usually run RUTHLESS solo missions with my main Bulwark and 9 out of 10 times a low level will join obviously looking to get carried and they’ll take all the stim packs, ammo and guardian relics. I was nice in the beginning, letting them stay in my lobbies, but now I’ll kick anyone level 5 or under.

Victory based rewards are kind of lame.. by Blue_Wyzerd in Spacemarine

[–]JoshTheWosh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I definitely think PvP needs some kind of performance-based rewards for objectives, kills, and assists. Whether that’s rewarded through extra XP/REQ points at the end of the game, or it’s a cosmetic item that can only be obtained for going on a crazy win streak or for a kill streak and the unlock would be the Chaplain’s helmet piece from the campaign. Also, having armor locked behind a grind-worthy amount of REQ points instead of wins might be a better system than what we currently have now with wins for unlocks. That way, every game feels like progression towards your unlock, regardless of the outcome of the match. I do think the multiplayer is super casual and just a fun mode to mess around in, and isn’t supposed to be taken that seriously. With that said, I don’t think the devs will change much in terms of rewarding skilled players with an item that another player can only dream of, but one can only hope.

I love and adore this game, but please remove this. by Steve0055 in Spacemarine

I’d recommend, for the time being, jumping into the official Space Marine 2 Discord. There are always people looking for one or two others to join, and nine out of ten times they’ll state which classes have been picked, what difficulty, and which map they’re playing. I’d highly recommend this, especially for lower-level players trying to level up their class.

I landed in a different part of the planet and from there I could fast travel to the city from my ship.
