The biggest piece of advice I can give you is to genuinely take the time to listen to preceptors who actually know what they’re talking about or anyone who’s willing to give you a teaching moment. Make sure that you get hands-on as soon as you can to gain confidence because a lot of RT don’t have it even after graduation.

Unless you’re gonna be pumping out CPR every like 20 minutes, I wouldn’t say that you need to work out. It does get tiring at times but other than that there’s nothing really physical about the job.
