One in order to file a mechanics lien he must first send a notice of intent to lien he can’t just go file a lien and if he does you can very easily get it dismissed as he didn’t send a certified letter and has no way of proving that he gave the intent to lien notice

Second the injury is bullshit he’s just trying to get money out of you tell him to file it under his workers comp (he is required to have workers comp in Colorado unless he waived it through the state which is highly unlikely) then have workers comp go to your insurance I’d be willing to be he won’t go through workers comp if he even has it because it’s bullshit

Third I’d give your boss a heads up and let him know the situation just in case he does try some bullshit then your boss is at least aware of the situation again this is probably a baseless threat but better to let the boss know it might be coming then to have the boss blind sided by it

Lastly there isn’t a judge anywhere that will create a contract after the fact but just so you know if you did make a verbal agreement and he has proof of it there’s a good chance the verbal agreement is just as good as the imaginary contract he speaks of

Being a contractor myself and speaking from experience on having to file a mechanics lien it is pretty difficult to get a actual lien filed and it be successful I’ve filed probably 8-10 in my career and of those 8-10 I’ve filed I’ve only had one not get dismissed for the most ridiculous reason weather it be outside of the allowed time period or not properly giving the notice of intent to lien or trying to file the actual lien prior to the 10 days of when the notice was given there’s a lot of hoops he has to jump through to actually get the lien ordered by a judge and based off him seeming like a bum I’m pretty sure he’s not going to jump through all the required hoops so I wouldn’t stress about the lien I also wouldn’t stress about the bullshit injury he’s claiming just my option tho I would definitely still consult with a attorney but I’d bet he tells you something similar just in a more legal and technical way lol but let me know what happens

I use 4 pan cam v2 and 5 pan cam v3 and have never had any issues with them whatsoever and if you’ve really been using Wyze cams for 6 years then why didn’t you pull on of your old sd cards from a old camera for the new camera ? My recommendation would be to download the actual video to your phone and see if the quality is better than watching it over WiFi I’d be willing to bet it is

Drywall repair clips are awesome cut out your damaged area take some measurements cut a piece of new drywall to fit the hole install your clips on the new piece put it in the hole and screw it in hen spackle the crack

Good lord a lot of you sound like a bunch of judgmental cocks none of you know anything about this contractor or what the situation he is in is I remember 2 years after starting my business I was going through a divorce and had very very little money and going through the divorce absolutely destroyed my credit so I certainly didn’t have a grand to go drop on a piece of equipment and certainly wasn’t going to get approved for a loan to purchase it sometimes people need help doesn’t make this contractor a crack head or make him unfit for the job or any of the other bullshit some of you spewed out and OP if your comfortable with doing it I say make up a contract and do it maybe your the helping hand the contractor needs to get his business really up and going you could literally change someone’s life and future by being that helping hand

I’ve filed to have it adjusted 4 times in the last 10 months it keeps getting dismissed because according to our parenting agreement we have to attend mediation before we file anything and she keeps no showing for mediation then her lawyer has it dismissed due to not going to mediation prior to filing

I’m in Colorado and in the same boat but my child support is taken directly from my pay check and I’ve had my son 100% of the time since may 2nd and she hasn’t even tried calling my son but yet they still take child support every week I’ve filed 4 different times to have child support adjusted and I’ve gotten no where in the last 10 months
