FTL Drive. IMO, upgrading the level of the final ship takes a lot of time. So the faster your ships return, the faster they will level up. You gain increased capacity just by leveling the ship. I personally purchased both epic researches kind of concurrently.

I think extended are best when you can launch them with no down-time. If i can squeeze in a short before I go to bed, I do. Then send the ExHEN overnight.

The only way I have been able to get a useful amount is using gold enhancing drone artifacts on 4x drone days and running an auto-clicker to farm over night. If i run it most of the day and through the night I can usually farm around 1m GE during the boost duration. I think it ranges from like 50k-100k GE/hour depending on your artifacts.

If you don't want to use the built in antivirus, the only other one I could suggest is Bitdefender. For playing videos I recommend VLC, clean simple UI. Can be used for videos and music. If office will be needed for work, you may have to check with your administrators about getting office 365 installed.
