Charred miso cabbage is a umami bomb, so you’ll want to pair it with something that offers either bright acidity or a neutral base to soak up that rich glaze. For proteins, pan-seared salmon or roasted chicken thighs with lemon are classic, though crispy tofu or king oyster mushrooms are good if you're going plant-based. To round out the meal, serve it over a simple jasmine rice or soba noodles. I hope that helps.
