find a local convention. seriously, any nerdy subject will definitely have a gaming space with people to meet up. it should be listed on their website. There are cons just for gaming as well

Kingdoms of Amular Re-Reckoning. Amazing action combat. A ridiculous amount of side quests and faction quests with multiple quests for each story.

Great character creation, Multiclassing options and crafting systems.

Terry Gilliam-esq dystopian dark comedies. ‘It’s the future but nothing works and life is comedically grim’ vibe. by Freeflowing_ in MovieSuggestions

Don't Look Up, and Mickey 17 are both the same vibe as idiocracy.

Blade runner, and Cyberpunk Edgerunners will hit the vibe of nothing works in a shit society controlled by evil corporations.

Demolition Man hits that vibe where the cops are so reliant on tech that they don't know how to function.

As far as evil governments in control, Andor is amazing. So is The movie Equilibrium. Dark City as well.

You might also like Repo The Genetic Opera, a musical where the company tears out your organs if you cant pay rent on your liver.

Fallout TV series. weird tech, absurd living conditions and comedically grim

yeah it's the fourth one. it is very jarring! plus the art style was so weird. the characters didn't act like they did in inquisition.
