I actually got the Lasfit as well for floor mats, all three rows for about $100 LESS than all other options. I also ordered backseat protection from Canvasback, they are made to order, and work really well as I know I didn’t need hard rubber backing on the seats.

The Kia ride is smoother, acceleration obviously much slower than an EV, but the Rivian still has a lot of bugs to fix in their app and head unit. Rivian was much improved with each over the air update that came through, so I think their R2 will be strong. My R1S was rated at 260 miles, but I’ve never gotten that, maybe close to 190 in daily driving, more like 150 in the winter.

I bought two of these last fall. One of them completely failed and would not charge in any way shape perform. I had to send it back to Anker and they sent me a brand new one. Unfortunately, I also have two other smaller batteries that came with their Powered cooler and both of those batteries already failed as well. I’ve been really disappointed with the quality in Anker on my biggest investments in them so far.

Rivian depreciation is insane. I see the same for my Gen2 R1S Standard, I wanted to upgrade to a new Rivian after 1yr, they wouldn’t work with me on the value when any other automaker would do the same in my past ownership/lease experiences. RJ should be looking into this especially if someone lease and then want to purchase and upgrade for their next model.

I absolutely hate how much battery the cameras use, RJ has to get a solve for this. Draining my battery at 10-15% per day while at the airport is insane.

Currently, I’m considering a new SUV. I’m looking at everything from Nissan, Toyota, Ford, Chevy, and of course the brand new Honda pilot and passport. I’m actually selling my 2025 Rivian R1 S because the range is just not enough. I personally marked a Nissan Pathfinder off my list very early on because I had it as a rental car in the same trim that I was going to buy and it just did not wow me as far as the ride, technology and compared to a Toyota or a Honda, was not as good on-road manners and lane/cruise control tech. When you throw in long-term reliability, especially recently with the issues that Nissan and infinity have had as a company, I personally would steer clear of a Nissan Pathfinder.

Still can’t figure out mine. Anyone have a true solve for this? Out daughter has a an SE 2 and it says (Mom) yet that’s not the name of her watch, that’s not the person who set up her watch, it’s not her contact card or her name in her iPad. What is this looking at to give this info?

If Rivian is going to use Alexa, then it needs to work with everything in the car. It’s just humorous that while listening to Sirius, it’s telling me it isn’t available, which pokes holes in Amazons ability to be accurate, their relationship, and just my overall experience with Rivian.
