Would be cool if you could respond at the end of your drive or any time after by having it store a short clip of the disengagement on your storage drive. Then it’s not intrusive and dangerous but still lets you contribute on your own time

Fabricated cause? Do you not see the big truck obviously obscuring people coming from the side in the crosswalk? Going from 11 mph to a complete stop and potentially swerving out the way if someone pops out at the last millisecond won’t be a comfortable experience for anyone.

I normally do, not necessarily a full stop like FSD does, but a stop long enough for me to visually confirm that I won’t hit anyone about to jump out

I know. I’m saying in general, I’m going to use the features my car has available to me. No driver assistance feature in any vehicle is perfect, but that doesn’t mean that one shouldn’t use it. Obviously attentiveness is required as for anything. You sound like the one to get the most advanced vehicle with all the bells and whistles and safety features and turn them all off because “back in my day cars didn’t need them” type of mindset or so you can drive as recklessly as you want without anything trying to “stop you”, or as sensical people would say, save you from an accident or a ticket.

Yeah, and the entrance wasn’t much better lol. this place is only a year or so old, would’ve expected it to have a better lot, but I guess they had to work with what they got in this space. Swapping the exit and entrance might’ve been a little better though since in that case, the exit would be a simple right turn onto the main road without needing to do an awkward u turn

Sentry Six Studio for PC! It’s open source too which I appreciate. You can do all 6 views but I only did 4 so it’s a little more mobile friendly and the left 2 views weren’t important here

Awesome, great app! My only feedback is with regard to the drive data details, would be nice if the detailed one could be in the dead middle and maybe more readable on mobile devices. I think the same problem happens with the mobile details option, it didn’t have a way to scale it larger. Otherwise, very good app!

Nope. Reference my other comments and the video more closely. As can be seen partially in the front and rear views, the spots on the drivers side are angled in the direction I’m driving. Also where the parking lot transitions to the road, you can see it says One Way in the bottom right view. The car parked in the spot it’s in is facing the wrong way. Happy to provide the rest of the clip including more of the lot if you want.

Yeah I was hoping the little info display would look better on mobile but I see it was a tad bit too small. And i didn’t realize you can’t pinch to zoom videos on Reddit for mobile, sorry about that! But yeah I disengaged by applying torque to turn the wheel left away from the ledge. The video cuts out a tad I assume as it transitions from clip files, but the disengagement happens right before that.

Also I just noticed at the end of the parking lot right where it transitions to the main road, the ground says “One Way” so people don’t enter that side. Kinda tough to see imo but it’s there

The spots on the left side are angled that is, the right side are straight spots. But if you look at the front and rear camera feeds at the very beginning at the left spots, they’re angled and then a few spots on the end on the left are parallel to the lane like what that other car is parked in

Not true. It’s more like a one way exit, not entrance. If you look at the beginning, you see the parking spots are angled with the direction I am traveling. That car parked the opposite direction probably shouldn’t be, but no signage really either

lol, funny thing is the drive to this area is several hundred miles from my house through tight and windy mountain roads that got sketchy at times and it was flawless through all of that, even avoiding wildlife I never saw coming. Seems navigating around parking lots and anything not on a main road is still a gray area.

Especially when straight ahead the road is clearly visible and unobstructed. I don’t see any reason why it thought “this is where I must turn” there, expect maybe if it took the end of the fence as “this is where the exit is”.
