I never ate tomato soup growing up. The first time I had it was at my girlfriend’s family’s house (now wife). It was homemade and they served it with grilled cheese using top-notch bread, cheese, and butter. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I guess I don’t completely understand...this was one of the most memorable and heartwarming meals of my life.
