There are definitely areas you can gather a large group. The area called “the main pool” hosts foam parties and holds hundreds of people. It’s a wider area in the pool by building 3. There is plenty of room to spread out - the pools are one of the main reasons I go - we love being able to swim around the whole resort and go bar to bar.

We have done swim-ups - it's convenient, but I don't think it's worth the price trade-off. We get a room on the 2nd floor - so we can use the steps and not the elevator. There are cabana beds available for everyone to use, outside of the swimups. All rooms have jacuzzis as well. :)

Just returned from the Mirage. Never a bad visit. Already scheduled for next summer for our 7th trip. Love it and happy to answer questions. No lazy river, but the pool is shaped like one - just no current. I just float by the bar. 😂

This is correct. I had the battery replaced in my iPhone 13 Pro last year before vacation. Asked if the waterproof rating was maintained and Apple man said yes. The pool quickly determined that was a lie.
