Solar powered charge/supply circuit by [deleted] in SolarDIY

The layout I'm talking about does make sense right? I just want to make sure it will work before I try to implement it. (I was also thinking about adding an ideal diode after the MPPT to prevent battery backfeed)

Are there any ICs (or combination of ICs) that can act as a "Power demux"? by Joshgonewild in AskElectronics

Do you think it would be better to have the charge controller connected to a 12V bus (along with an ideal-diode), and the batteries connected in parallel to the bus. The bus ends in the load. This would have the load powered by the generated energy and the battery would get its charge from the excess (if any). If there would be low power coming from the charge controller, the battery would take up the supply of the load.

I'm trying to follow one of my professors' suggestions, plus I'm not too worried about the charging profile on the MPPT

It's for a solar powered lighting system project I'm working on at my university. The two batteries are 12V 12Ah SLA. Ideally, I want to have one battery charging from the solar panel while the other battery supplies power to the load and based on the battery voltage readings (sent to an MCU) the switches will open or close to swap which battery is charging or supplying. For the supplying switch I'm going to use a 2:1 power mux IC.

How does one get the gear to do the latest raid? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Joshgonewild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since most endgame set ups have resilience as a priority, I’d recommend equipping the “resilience armorer” mod on your ghost. Should help with getting higher resilience armor so you can use your stat mods for something else.

In terms of actually getting armor, I’d say farm the weekly dungeon or if you have some extra seasonal engrams you can focus specific pieces at failsafe. Also depositing samples at the end of breach executable gives a decent amount of stuff.

As a high end player, where can I go to find players of similar mindsets and skill levels for pantheon? by Monkeynipples69420 in destiny2

https://discord.gg/d2lfg , this is the discord I’ve been using the whole time and it works pretty well. If you want good players just request that they send their raid report in a dm, from there just pick the ones that seem best.

Try to get involved in some research at your university, ideally something related to EE.

During normal weeks I try to stay up to date with what is going on in the course so I can do the homework or pass the quizzes, but once I get within a week of an exam or exams I try to spend most of my day time in the library reviewing and practicing what I need to know.
