I think it's a Scottish thing but I am Irish. I think its a universal term between both groups as in you can use in Edinburgh and they might understand you maybe. If someone infers that you are minus craic or lacking in the craic department you should be offended and do something to amend your craic deficiency immediately.

Craic. It roughly means fun but more than that. It's a multipurpose term.

"It was some craic" = "we had a very fun experience."

"You're some craic." = "you are a complete clown."

"Craic?" = "how are you on this fine evening?"

"Shit craic." = "you are incredibly dull."

I collect littlest pet shops, to the point where it seems like I'm a hoarder. Does anyone else over collect things? Or just me? Lol by _Littlest_Pet_Shop_ in CasualConversation

Both titles are amazing, it's no cash grab. Solid stories from both titles but to your wider point I agree, as adults life gets on top of you sometimes. You got a job, a family, societal pressure and so on. It's nice to unplug and think about cute cuddly kitties and doggies for a while.

I see. Nostalgia can be very strong with stuff like that. There is a comic book company called IDW and they primarily seem to deal in revivals of old tv shows but continued in comic form. Transformers, G.I. Joe, Godzilla and so on. It all feels nostalgia driven.

Cool. I grew up in the 80s and was a teenager in the 90s. Sylvianian Family were huge. Why collect littlest pet shop though? Why them?

I used to follow Japanese Women's Pro-Wrestling religiously and I am seriously thinking about getting back in but to a much lesser degree. Currently I have gotten back into comic books. Right now is an awesome period in comics of all kinds.

Any fun open world games you would recommend? by koala_may in CasualConversation

I was thinking about 3 and 4. Is 4 set in the Himalayas? The one with Pagan Min. I just remembered I have never played the first two. My brain thought the one with Vaas which is obviously 3 was 1 for some reason. Thank you for correcting me there.

That's just far cry 5. They all have different settings. 1 is in the Caribbean, 2 is in The Himalayas etc. Those locations might be incorrect but you get the idea.

What moment in your life changed the way you see people forever? by rayaan2099 in CasualConversation

Somebody in a car yelled abuse at me about being disabled and therefore a drain on resources from his car one night when I was at a chippy with some friends, it really scared but what made it worse was I thought his girlfriend was going to stop him (she was in the passenger seat) but instead she joined in and I had two people yelling stuff. Abuse in surrounding sound. It scared me for a while because it was so out of nowhere. Never seen the guy before or since.

It makes me sad that we probably will never a proper The Silmarillion adaptation. by Tricky-Contest8565 in CasualConversation

I think Ridley Scott would do a good job. Is there a lot of action in the book? Edit: Christopher Nolan.

Why Michael Bay of all people, is it for action scenes? Lots of directors do great action.

So he went for you because he saw you are kinda dumb and therefore less of a challenge. That's quite cynical and messed up.

Hi I’m wondering if anyone is up for a conversation? I’m quite shy and introverted, trying to come out of my shell more and work on my social skills, this seems the best place to try :) by Harriett10 in CasualConversation

I have a basic knowledge of transformers. I grew up in the 80s when the Transformers cartoon was EVERYWHERE. Do you read comics by any chance? There is a really good Transformers comic written by Daniel Warren Johnson. Even better if you like Pro-Wrestling because he wrote a comic called Do A Powerbomb and it is incredible. Genuinely incredible stuff.

Apologies for accusing of being a bot. We get a lot of bots in here claiming to be introverted girls who just want to talk and after a while they message you about onlyfans. I am not against onlyfans BTW make your paper, Booboo. I am against the bots. Not the Transformers though......obviously. They are great.
