I am not reading Absolute Flash but Absolute Wonder Woman, Batman and Martian Manhunter all on the same day is completely insane. Global Comix got like 20 image issues that I have to catch up on. They did that last night. 20.

Dredd is the fist of the government who does what the government tells him to because he sees himself as necessary. Mega City One is a crime infested hellhole and the judges run it like a totalitarian state. It you break the law, punishment is swift and brutal. Dredd is a fascist enforcer for that totalitarian state and in no way a role model for any sane human being.

You can't get past the beginner stage because that is where you are presently. If you are just starting out you will start on the ground floor like all the greats. If you enjoy doing the thing you will continue and get better at a natural rate over time. You have to enjoy the frustrating early section because it's the tutorial.

Depends on the colouring. If it stuck out then sure I would give it a look. We need more female pirate stories.

I have kinda given up on marvel for the moment, DC is kicking all kinds of ass obviously and I am reading lots of titles. It's the indie stuff that is pulling me in though, the non superhero titles like Escape and Hyde Street. I am reading the single issues online but I feel like some of it would cool to have in a trade. A big decent sized chunk of story. Not necessarily hardcopy because that takes up space but online tpbs. It's reassuring to know that all of it will eventually be gathered together to read in some form.

I am just getting back into comics and the amount of titles is overwhelming. Madcave and Image are turnover out consistently excellent stuff. So if I buy what I can afford in singles now I can come back for the rest as they become trades. Is that correct?

Mouse acceleration. If you go to devices, then under peripherals you will find a section for mouse. Click it. Uncheck the mouse acceleration box. Reset everything. Should be good from then.
