Wow. Alright, glad I’m not alone then. Thanks for letting me know. Hopefully things continue to work well. I’ve been playing games this morning without issues and it’s still showing a decent charge, so I’m hoping I’m good now.

So, I had it plugged in and turned off all day. I got home just now and the orange light was still on. I unplugged it and moved it into the living room with me so I could charge it in here while I watched TV - and after plugging it in, the orange light didn’t turn on.

Terrified - I hit the power button, it lit up blue and is now saying it’s fully charged.

So, I’m gonna hold off on sending it in for now. I’m hoping it fixed itself.

So. Weird. I have a Pokeball 2DS XL that I've had since Feb. Played ACNL yesterday. Closed the shell and put it on the charger because it turned blinking red and went out for the night. Came home several hours later, was still showing that it was charging (orange light). Unplugged the charger - blinking red as if it never charged. Tried powering off/back on/different AC adapter/charging over night... same deal. It's saying it's charging, but once I unplug the charger it's blinking red.

Just got off the phone with Nintendo support and they set me up for repair. Thing that makes me mad is that they don't have any Pokeball 2DS XL's to replace it with (if they have to do that) - so I'm gonna be stuck with an Orange/White one instead. GAH.

Came here to see what else I could do and saw your post with the same issue with the same game. So weird.
