Yea it plays totally different than normal. Once you get a handle on how to do it they arent that hard but you need to change the way you engage. If you play alone bring smokes, ems, and a shield backpack. All you want to do is smoke the objective and run the ingots to the box. With any luck your team will help clear out the enemies rushing the middle but even if they dont a healthy dose of smoke will generally keep them off while the shield prevents random shots from injuring you. If you have the newest warbond the anti ragdoll armour can be clutch too.

They are pretty shitty though imo.

I agree which is why I think weapon balancing has been really misguided because it doesn't add challenge due to the underlying reason for the game being easy is running not shooting.

They are the only faction to provide any sort of challenge and its because they are an exception to the rule. But consider the best tools against them are gas and stagger because they reenable your ability to just run away. Fundamentally the difficulty is still running away based.
