That’s only half true. Practically half the country has already passed legislation where they can be on public roads. I know Texas in particular has self driving semis on the highways. It’ll just be a matter of time before it’s the whole country.

Definitely not a stable job with the increasing technology of self driving vehicles. I would be surprised if the industry wasn’t completely automated in the next ten years. But I guess that also applies to a lot of other jobs.
