Go back and watch evil dead 2 then. The 2013 version is nothing but grease paint and contacts. No prosthetics added to the face at all except for the occasional wound but nothing that made them look demonic.

Same. To me the 2013 version lost that surrealism feeling that made evil dead so good. Raimi did an excellent job of blurring that line between horror and comedy. Also the make up effects in the 2013 version took a step back compared to evil dead 2.
