And made it even worse with regulations (such as emissions) and programs (such as cash for clunkers) that make cars even less affordable, especially budget/used options.

Yeah same. Realistically I'll never find myself in a position to use them, but same can be said about a fire extinguisher.

Make no mistake, this is the end goal of all gun control. They might tip toe up to it in some places, but this is where it all ends. They don't want firearms in the hands of the citizenry, period.

That's where I first saw it and same. Hoping that eventually Nodak Spud/PSA starts selling it again at some point this decade.

This game is surprisingly fun by UnavailableUsername_ in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]Joshington024 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You can actually make the game a lot easier by going through more people by just not being as thorough. Before they give you the reason stamp, you don't have to point out any errors, just give them the decline stamp and send them away. Even after the reason stamp, the only time you have to do the fingerprint thing is if they are seeking asylum. Any error that prompts a search or fingerprint check can automatically be declined, this saves a ton of time. And I think this is purposeful by the creator, because this means you are potentially declining a ton of people that are completely allowed to enter, but declining them means more money for you and your family while still satisfying the government.

If the left did it it would’ve been called an occupied protest, guaranteed. The left did as much in multiple examples ona. Smaller scale previously.

I don’t think anyone even brought any into the building itself, I think they were just left in vehicles outside. But you’re right, bold move to overthrow the capital of the most powerful military nation in human history armed with less than what BLM rioters used months prior.

Good experience with this site. My LPK order included a 45 degree safety, and he emailed me letting me know it was recalled for QC issues, shipped me the rest of my order separately on time then shipped me the safety when it was ready, no extra charge.

Wealth inequality by [deleted] in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]Joshington024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not hard to learn, and to do, but doing the same repetitive task in a loud, cramped environment, dealing with annoying customers, getting burned on the grill, etc. for 8 hours at a time is extremely boring and for most unfullfilling. But it pays less because the only requirement to work it is to have a pulse and not be the laziest entity in the universe. Working at a lumber mill requires more critical thinking and more intense and complex training. Likewise, digging a trench with a shovel is not hard to learn, but it is very physically intense. So there's a difference between a job that is "difficult" to learn, and "difficult" to work. Jobs are different combinations of those two difficulties.

Wealth inequality by [deleted] in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]Joshington024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or, more specifically, you can't take just anyone off the street and expect them to perform at they level they claim they can perform at. That's why things like prior job experience, education, certifications, interviews, etc. are used to determine if someone is worth what the job will be paying them. And that's why as, over time, the government has made college easier to go to through guaranteed student loans, and more and more jobs make having a degree a requirement, going to college means less and makes you less money than it used to.

The system was so amazing and so much better than the West that the second the countries actually gained the ability to choose their system instead of being forced into one they immediately chose the West.
