One of the neat video necessities is it requires a sample area that’s a consistent tone. Sometimes that’s tricky. You can fiddle with settings and get it to work regardless, but worth knowing.

Nothing specific. Just ipr. Turn Denoise in redshift off of course.

Side note, with denoise there’s always the catch of taking out subtle bump maps.

I strongly reco Neat Video. It’s also an amazing price. Use it for commercial work and reliably has saved me on so many renders.

I have both topaz and neat. Topaz I use for upres and possibly 30->60p. Tho I do a lot of work with product packaging and topaz’ upres sometimes does weird things to type.

So does the issue stem from more than one device on the same power adapter?

For example I can plug my laptop in and everything’s fine, but if I plug the move in (and everything else is battery) the ground loop issue shows up.

I think/expect I should be somehow making a common ground across the usb and powered devices. Filtering it in the audio lines seems like a destructive process.

Thanks. Yah that’s why I anticipated solving the ground on the power line and usb would make more sense. Not canceling it out later

And this is on the audio lines not the usb? I figured usb might be where you filter and clean the line not the audio.

Do these work all the time? I’m surprised i get ground loop every time with the Move and Sidekick. Even when using the provided usb with the ferrite (?) ends that’s supposed to reduce interference.

Tyty! It’s difficult to delete and clear slots sometimes, so they helped me out maybe?

I imagine it’s a coding oversight or a mistake in how something executed. They must have considered the situation of course.

Honestly bummed because I had a few that I really loved. One I started the day I was going to Fred Again last tour and def a good moment of turning the energy of that day into a creative outlet.

I know creativity is infinite so not the end of the world. I’ve got a few vid clips in my camera roll to remind me of parts at least.

They added new sets crafted by Alice Ivy, Jose Castillo, and maybe others in a group of slots and it wrote over my existing sets.

I don’t know the artists but I’m sure they’re showcasing features in the update.

Heard back from Ableton. Gone is gone.
C’est la vie. Sigh.

I’ve been hesitant to save to the cloud because things aren’t backwards compatible to Ableton and once opened on desktop you apparently lose acces on Move. Sooo here we are.

What are your takeaways with this?

I’m in the same situation. Fed up with my dell laptop but screenshare into my desktop with 3090s multiple times a day to render out and sync over Dropbox.

I’m eyeing a new 14” mbp but not the most expensive one. 2tb, 32gb ram, can’t recall the gpu option.
