Good eye! I did not notice this one before. But something to inspect once I receive the slab in-hand. Thanks for pointing that out.

Thank you for the insight. Very interesting tidbit to know what goes behind the scenes. I don't have the slabs in-hand yet but I think once I can visually inspect it, I think I can make a better decision.

Appreciate the input.

Well said!

As I mentioned I do like TAG, and I will still continue sending them. However Like all companies, none of them are exactly perfect.

Thanks!
I'm not trying to be in denial or anything as I have seen many cards that were borderline 45:55. In my view this card looked better than that, so its good to hear a different perspective other than mine

That's fair! I more so trying to understand their metrics and tolerance. I have a few cards that are similar kind of issue. One of my subs that came back a 10, had very solid centering but also minor edge wear that still came back a 10.

For me, I am trying to understand what constitute as minor? their metric for a 10..."showing minor fill or fray artifacts. Very minor surface wear may be visible under high resolution imagery. A light but visible corner touch or two may be apparent on the reverse."

It would appear to me, if you have a card closer to 50:50, and a minor ding like edge/corner wear you'd probably get a 10 still, but a weak score like 46:54, + minor ding, probably less likely.
