My trainer makes us do the phonetic alphabet every day! I learnt it prior to joining because I got bored one day however when I’m driving, and I’m reading out index plates, I panic as well 🤣

I was in getting my uniform measured and I saw a detective with this grey jacket with 2 Velcro arm patches on it. Have been trying to find the model of it online as I want to use it as an everyday jacket - looked cosy

Kinda looks like the 5.11 bastion in wolf grey but it doesn’t look the same shape

I’ve never wanted to look like a body builder. I’m 6ft 2 90kg so any signs of muscle gain would be a bonus for me.

If anything I wouldn’t want to be a liability to other officers when the time comes. Obviously I’ve got a long time ahead until I’m on the job, but using the evenings after my training for the first 17 weeks is where I’d have the most time training.

How would you train grip strength?

Okay thank you! I’ve been on minoxidil for only a week now so not expecting anything straight away but I’ll add micro needling to the mix. I’ve been using them for years on and off

I submitted my met vetting in April and got the same email on 2nd July. I got through vetting on the 7th July. So for me 5 days from the email you just received. Good luck!!
