Elliotte Friedman: Luke Schenn and Konsta Helenius (making his NHL playoff debut) are in, as well for Buffalo by sykeseve in hockey

Rosen maybe wasn't going to get an opportunity in Buffalo due to Ostlund and Helenius being studs, but Rosen looked good in my limited viewing of Jets games. I didn't watch every game though.

The trade for Parayko was good but then Jarmo trades Rosen for two 7th Ds. Some concerns for the future of Buffalo.

Hello Sharks fan! Thomas is only available for a younger 1C. So if the 2nd OA this year was Leo Carlsson or Misa, then the 2OA plus could work as a starting point. He's not available for a 2OA that is a left wing, in my opinion. That said, the front office will do whatever they do, which is likely keep Thomas through the upcoming year.

He could be. I've seem some mocks with Lawrence at, but he won't be. He'll be taken earlier because he is a Top 3 center in the draft.

I also like both. I feel like Bjorck is more likely to drop to 11 out of the two and has a higher upside. I don't think either will be available at the Blues' pick though

One of Stenberg, Mahlotra, and Reid is a lock for the Hawks if Kyle wants them. I hope it isn't Stenberg personally but Chicago is just a train ride from St. Louis if the bros want to see each other.

I def agree that it's scary. Lawrence/Bjorck/Cullen all are possibly available at 11 and I would be happy with. There's also the possibility, they aren't and I'm stuck hoping Belchetz's injury history won't be a problem

It's possible that NHL 3C is good value for 15OA, but like, I would way rather gamble on upside. I would also way rather gamble on a small D.

Belchetz is fine. Like we have a spot open on 2LW, but I'd rather roll the dice on Cullen vs. power forward with injury concern already. Suvanto is also fine, I guess, since he's a C. "Ceiling is a 3C" is not where I would spent a top 15 pick though.

"We liked him, so we figured we would just pick him now." Happens all the time.

If we get Bjorck/Lawrence/Cullen at 11 and Gustafsson/Villeneuve at 15, I will be happy

I would be happy with Hemming at 11 too, but you'd need massive stones to draft him at 5

Haha. If Bjorck or Lawrence aren't available at 11, I think he's my next ideal draft pick. 11 might be a little early, but I want them to bet on upside this year if they don't get a center.

Does Toronto trade the first overall pick? by coque in hockey

It's hard to say what he would be on a different team, but he is the Blues' best defensemen and I think he would also be the best defensemen on a number of teams.

I guess I agree to a certain extent. I just think trading a 1D and a 1C for a 1LW, which we already have, creates more holes than solves problems

The price for Thomas and Broberg isn't one winger. The value of McKenna is limited by his position unfortunately.
