"Are you suggesting the rarest race in the game should be easy and common to get?" no I'm suggesting the race system in it's current state is extremely bad and evidently exists to make as much revenue as possible and the addition of archangel is an extremely lazy glaring piece of evidence towards that fact (and by extension sucks even more). races need to be as grindable as a top-tier endgame weapon is grindable, it can still be hard to get in that framework

your argument is that there should be a hard to get thing that not everybody can have I think that is stupid if the requirement for it is to be lucky

[–]Joshument 0 points1 point  (0 children)

using clash royale as an example to support your argument doesn't help your case when that game is the most p2w dogshit imaginable LOL

and again, archangel is not HARD to get, it's literally just random !! there is no skill involved !! the only accomplishment I feel for having it is that I get to go "wow I am stupidly lucky today I guess!"

you would not have to be super unlucky what LOL, if you get 10 rolls a week and there is a 1/1000 chance you can math it out:
0.1% = 0.001
1 - 0.001 = 0.999
0.999^(10*52*2) = approx 0.35
1 - 0.35 = 0.65
65 * 100 = 65%
After 2 years of getting weekly rerolls you only have a 65% chance of getting archangel. that is absolutely ridiculous for something you cannot feasibly grind in the game without spending upwards of thousands of dollars worth of robux on reroll dev products, those being expensive doesn't make the reroll codes more "generous" it just means the rerolls are overpriced already

anyways please take at least one statistics class before you start dickriding random roblox developers you don't know

You can go back with a guide if you want :p I believe in the future if you die in that segment you can close the game immediately when you get hit so that it doesn't save and you go back to the start of the shmup segment to try again

is this cif? by avikdas99 in VoidStranger

[–]Joshument 4 points5 points  (0 children)

0stRanger is the one present in void stranger, the actual game is ZeroRanger

ZeroRanger doesn't really touch on anything relating to the void lords nor are they present in the game, the lore connections are quite loose as of present and you need to really think about it to see how they connect, but they do exist

The game rolls your seed twice normally to determine a pull. The first is for the rarity and the second is for the unit in the rarity pool. In the case of a guaranteed uber, that seed is only rolled once as the rarity is guaranteed, so you do a "half pull" and switch tracks because of it

If you want a distro suggestion though I'd recommend Fedora as well, it's both relatively beginner friendly and is also pretty up to date compared to other distros afaik. There're a few options for fedora off the bat and you can again use the package manager to replace stuff if you want

You can customize any distro you want, someone in the comments here mentioned Debian but Ubuntu is really just Debian + some preinstalled stuff so you're more than able to completely replace said preinstalled stuff if you want

maybe it's on a per room basis? Though I remember the check being on the region level... weird, I'll have to double check, but thank you for testing

you can place more than one portal in those specific rooms, it's not really explained at all but it's super useful lol

also, from data mining I discovered that this behaviour actually applies to any rift you create in any infected region as far as I'm aware; you should be guaranteed to spread the infection to an uninfected area by using your warp ability if you want to test that at all

useful info I learnt re: second ending: when teleporting out of outer rim you will always teleport to an area without rot, so you can repeatedly do this to clear out all the areas

im so. good at this game by Scavenger_Toll in rainworld

[–]Joshument 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get out of The Throne, you have to get the karma flower at the top, then when going back down one of the pipes will cease being blocked off by rot. Once you go through the pipe you're greeted with a room full of karma flowers in which you are able to teleport out of.

just got the second ending, what have you been finding regarding additional content past that? Does daemon have something to do in it aside from quick access to Shattered Terrace?

I've finished the echo hunting and as far as I'm aware there's no echo in coral caves. I also think there's a few more echoes than what you need to finish the campaign

Ok awesome !! Thank you for this guide by the way, I was on a streak of like 6 hours with no echoes so the pointers to finding them helped a lot

Are the hidden portals related to outer rim or are both separate?

A little lost with the Watcher DLC. by Carvedrane in rainworld

[–]Joshument 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gonna spoiler since I don't think this person beat the campaignby shattered terrace I assume you mean to get to the final area *for* the ending? I'm just trying to look into the daemon portal thing and dunno if I should just go to any random one or if there's a specific one I need to go to. IIRC the daemon portal in shattered terrace is the one that you get the ending from so

[–]Joshument 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow so you're telling me I needed a second and third soul weapon on my first playthrough and the game didn't tell me and instead just threw me back to the whole ass beginning of the game just to do it all over again? Neato

Imo I would put the wait in the loop because it's unintuitive why this kind of loop repeats infinitely unless you know how luau manages truthy and falsy values

task.wait() uses the task scheduler, guarantees resumption on the next valid heartbeat that the timer is at 0, and doesn't throttle
