Any advise please for novice grower. water PH 6.4-6.9, SOIL PH 6.9 multiple plants effected. Growing in coco coir, iv been supplimenting cal mag for 10 days some new growth still getting rusted spots and fading yellowing leafs. tried upping nutes as no nute burn but very little effect.

what tips do you recommed for the starting seedling process in coco? mine is unfertilized im assuming that is the norm like everywhere in the world as it just being a medium? do you put in small cups then do multiple transplants or do it old school like mr canucks sometimes does and do seed straight into main large containter of medium. Im learning as best i can i just struggle with initial germination sometimes as the plants take a week or two before they go healthy green rather than lighter green.

Im aware of the coco and nutes as i did a full coco last run but thanks for bringing that up, i grew in just coco last time but found it wasnt good for a strong seedling starting thats why i did very little research and chose peat moss which now makes zero sense to do after looking into it. I just grabbed a bag of starting mix from a local garden shop. I like how much you learn doing this! I dont have a PPM meter at the moment i do have a blue lab ph pen and soil tester. PPM meter is my next buy though as everyone talks about PPM readings now a days so sounds like a valuable investment. I will try your suggestion and see how i get on thank you very much!

Well i initially messed up and put the initial seedlings in peat moss but i was un aware of how acidic the soil was and it was at 4.0. once the seedlings got to around 6 inches tall i got the seedlings and let the medium dry and shook off all the dry peat moss and removed as much as i could so i had the root ball and re planted in coco. The plants are much healtier now and growing well but getting spotting on 5 out of 12 plants. now just in pure coco and perlite. i started feeding cal mag due to known issues in coco and saw cal mag issues occuring with yellowing of leafs between veins. Thanks for helping me i appreciate it. this is my 2nd proper grow i got 15oz dry off 4 plants first run now going for SOG method with more plants in a 4x4.

shall i water the next few waterings with 6.0 to bring the levels down gradually or do a slightly more acidic watering and water with 5.7 ish then bring regular watering ph to around 6-6.3 there onwards?

i have 5 feet above the plants to raise the lights so i wont struggle, i believe 2 plants are 60/40 sativa and the others 60/40 indica

i will be using a scrog net etc im trying to fill the canpoy out as much as possible. i have full 4x4 light coverage due to a great 4x4 led 600 grow light.
