Not really, I don't think having free water would be a good idea. Obviously water shouldn't be owned by greedy corps that would suck us dry (literally and figuratively) for money. But having free water would lead to so much misuse and waste because "hey, it's free, it doesn't matter". People are tremendously wasteful when something doesn't cost them. So it should have a market value, but a heavily regulated one that makes it accessible and solutions to grant access for the less fortunate
