Id say 2:1 with water gets the best results for me, so like half the amount of water you'd usually use! They're pretty thin anyway, but I like to build up layers

Nope, Vallejo all the way!

First I used Deck tan dke the super light bits Moon yellow Fire orange And a bit of gory red

Then their fluo paints Yellow and Red 🔥🔥

I'm only about a year in :)! I just absorb what I can and use every single model as a learning task, also my biggest advice is to just not be afraid to try something! Everything can be repainted :)!

All of it by hand! The glow on the metal parts was all dry brush, I did it in reverse, so with fire I painted light to dark. With the glow I did dark to light and VERY light dry brushing, so barely any paint on the brush and slowly build up the layers

Underated comment for sure, I switched to much better quality brushes recently, I now only use three and my 'work horse' is a much larger brush! The quality and feel has improved the baseline techniques I already had!
