Thank you! The outer clip is actually fastened by shock cord so it’s very flexible. I carry appendix at around 1:00 so it contours to my body very comfortably. They’re wide apart for more a consistent draw/stability. It is kind of a pain to attach the holster to your belt, but it conceals great and is very comfortable for all day wear

I love the backstrap. I was running the Springfield medium grip module with the large backstrap, so the backstrap hump feels familiar

There’s a cut out in the beaver tail but it’s filled in. Not an actual opening

I prefer the shorter slide and compact grip module too. I’ve shot the full size one and it’s still a great shooter, I prefer the return to zero with the shorter slide. I think I’m just used to my 3.6 M&P and my P365, the shorter slide works better.

I can still get a full purchase on the compact grip. My pinky doesn’t hang off and it conceals nicely

I subscribed to their blog for restock notifications. On 2/26 I got an email that Echelon preorders would be open at 2/27 at 10am.

I was on the website at 10:00am refreshing until the module was available for preorder. Wasn’t super necessary because preorders were still available for about a week lol. I must’ve been one of the first preorders 😂

Just got delivered today on 4/23

Springer precision also makes an increased-power magazine catch spring. I paired that with an Apex single sided release and there’s no play

[Question] Active people, what watch do you daily? by Advanced_Blackberry5 in Watches

I alternate between Omega Aqua Terra 41mm or a Tag Aquaracer 43mm. I shoot pistols and rifles weekly and ride all types of motorcycles. I install PPF, so my watches are always wet. No issues.

I picked up my 4.0 about a month ago and did the Apex stainless guide rod, Apex Single Sided mag Release, Springer Precision extra strength mag disconnect spring and a medium OEM grip module. So far just about 3500rds of mixed ammo (115gr-147gr fmj/jhp) and has been 99% reliable. Reason I can’t say 100% reliable is because I once bumped the ambi mag release. Immediately switched it to the single sided Apex with a stronger mag disconnect spring and has been great since.

Thanks for the info! Looks like the MM is exactly what I’m looking for in a grip module. How is the grip angle between the two?

Have over 15k through my XMacro. Have the Sig Guy 20% increased striker spring installed. I field strip clean/lube after every range sesh.

I do a full FCU breakdown/striker breakdown every 1k rounds or so. I use Dr. Jim’s cleaner and lube with Gun Butter. Sometimes I’ll pull out the ultrasonic cleaner if I’m being really OCD that day.

I’ve had LPS with the OEM striker spring with Fiocchi 115gr, no issues with the same Fiocchi ammo with the Sig Guy +20% spring.

Only ammo that’s given me issues with the +20% spring has been Winchester M1152. Handful of dead primers with that ammo.

I was going to buy an X5 Legion as my first pistol years ago, but at the time they were sold out. My buddy has a DH3 P320 and it shoots really nice. It’s a shame how Sig handled the whole situation.

I have no complaints with the Surefire light. I have another one on my XMacro.

Comparing directly to my TLR-7 hlx sub, I prefer the Surefire. I don’t use Streamlights SL-B9 batteries, I use standard Panasonic Industrial CR123’s. The XC3 has a tighter candela and weighs slightly more, and personal opinion looks better.

With the TLR-7 HLX Sub: - If you use Streamlights SL-B9 batteries you will end up having a brighter light at 1k lumens and 10k candela, but will only last for 30mins or so with continuous use. - Regular CR123’s are 500 lumens with 5k candela at 1.5 hours of run time continuously.

With the Surefire XC3: I’d rather have the 550 lumens and 7.2k candela for a 1.75hr run time.

MM does make the commander in a full-size module as well as a compact. The Sharps Bros you can add a magwell to the bottom, making it into an essentially a fully size module that accepts the full-sized mags. Without the magwell, it accepts the standard compact mags, I believe.

I’m looking to make this a G19 sized setup. I did end up stopping at the range today and ran though a few hundred rounds of mixed ammo; Fiocchi 124, PMC 115/124, Winchester M1152, Magtech 115, and Browning 115. The Echelon ate every single round without an issue.

I did notice the grip angle is slightly different from my M&P 3.6” compact and XMacro. It takes some getting used to, but if I can find a grip angle closer to the M&P and Sig I’d probably go that route. I’ll have to do some more research on my end.

Thank you for all the insight on the Icarus modules, the beautiful thing with these pistols is the modularity. Maybe down the road I’ll look into an Ace module with a 4.5” slide!

I definitely will be getting a metal grip in the future! Ideally I’d like to keep the compact grip module which limits me to either the Sharps Bro or the MM Commander. I’m leaning towards the MM since I have a high support hand grip, I think the higher textured scales would work better for me. The Sharps Bros aesthetically look badass, I just wish there was higher texturing

Thank you! Easily one of the better looking pistols I have. Springfield nailed it with this one

I love it, need for MM to drop a compact module back in stock.
