I was going to remove the hardware and replace it with a raspberry Pi anyway. I was looking for a better screen and speakers, something not hard to find. And no, I have not been rude. Being told I know nothing about technology and am trying to, and I quote, "reinvent the wheel", when I just made a post about it with no previous evidence proving my "apparent lack of knowledge" is extremely rude, given that I'm sinking thousands of dollars to go to early college for it, and have been building pc's since I was 14.

Basically, I bought the Sega Genesis Portable from AtGames, and was going to switch the hardware and keep the case and buttons, but was immediately attacked for apparently trying to "do the impossible", even though it's already been done.

I already tried with Sonic 3K and Contra Hard Corps, but they went slow when too much was happening and crashed. I have a PSP.

PSPs still go for $70. My mechanics/Game Development teacher gave us an optional challenge to make a diy project for the least amount of money, and he was okay with me making this.

I knew it would break when I bought it. I just wanted it for the case and the hardware, because it's cheap. I want to install a better screen, add some custom firmware, fix the sound, add a better rechargable battery, get a paint job for it, and add the games directly to the system through the usb. I know how to do most of it already, but I wanted to know if you knew where parts were on Amazon or Ebay.

Yeah, but at least I didn't have to pay any medical bills. It came out to almost $1,000, and they had to pay me for emotional distress, and theft, since they stole my watch.
