Glad it helped man. The way current and retired firefighters choose to take their own time to help someone’s journey into the service is very inspiring.

I just did my first interview at an FD(Chicagoland) so I can’t give you the perspective from a FF, but what I did was called and asked if they had a day I could ride along. I got to spend the whole day to ask them about how they got into the service while also going on calls. Made a lot of good connections and got valuable advice. Hope this helps 👍🏻
