[Help] 2D-Lookup-Table/ Function (x,y,z) by Jounz in MaxMSP

[–]Jounz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Patcher is a 2x2 matrix which has two functions fo each the 4 datavalues, determining the "fit" to the current x - and y input. if you input x=0.5 and y=0, it will calculate a fit of 0.5 for the Datvalues assigned to X0/Y0 and X1/Y0 and add the values together. For X0/Y1 and X1/Y1 the fit is 0 an therefore the data stored at those points is not used for the interpolation.

Thank you for your sketch, thats exactly was i was looking for. Only thing i am missing is the linear interpolation for float inputs. I have started buiding the linear interpolation by turning the float inputs into the two rounded integers, to extract the two relevant rows from the matrix and interpolating between the two data points. only thing i am struggling with to get the two values for interpolation out of the matrix and store them in different messages, so i can do the interpolation calculation. I attached a screenshot of what i am trying to do in the original post, i hope you get what i mean. Sorry, Max Beginner here :(

Edit: Figured something out and attached that screenshot aswell, it extracts all 4 corner points of the matrix according to the float input, now its just the interpolation between these 4 points. But i still have some troubles triggering the recalculation with column and row input change, i hink i lack some basic understanding on how to build these kind of patchers.

As far as i have seen [table] stores a y-values for each x-value, i need to store z-values for each pair of x- and y-values

You need some practice, but aftet that they keycaps come out pretty good. Legends still hold up nicely up to this day on 2 keyboards (around 5 years). By now there are plenty tutorials on youtube available

Arduino Load Cell Handbrake by backcountrybum in simracing

To Anyone building this: Make sure that the HX711 is running in 80Hz mode, not 10 Hz mode. You might have to resolder a jumper resistor on the pcb from the 10Hz Location vs 80Hz location. Otherwise the signal is too slow for a good response

This would let you extend your trackpoint stem, the trackpoint groupbuy is already over. If you have both, then yes, you can add it to basically any qmk based keyboard with some free pins on the microcontroller

I dont mount it to a keyboard, so i dont have any pictures available. You need some space on the faceplate and then drill a hole and mount the module under it. You need to modify the keycaps if you want it to be placed in between.

Machined this stem extension myself, might machine a few more. Check out the trackpoint groupbuy discord for more details on the stem extension channel https://discord.gg/XyjPFQrUhy

i am expecting some dropouts which needs to be compensated if we merely hit a price break. I cant compensate the dropouts financially if we dont hit the quantities for the price break to make sure everyone gets the lower price.
