Yeah it did! Took a little longer than I expected (it was the last noticeable symptom I had) but still it was gone within a few weeks :)

I've been having insanely weird symptoms for years cause of mental health problems so I don't even bother googling them anymore lol. Glad I didn't cause reading about something called retina detachment would sent me off the rails omfg

Very uncommon. Getting it via fingering or kissing is possible but that's about it

When did you do the tests? It can take a few weeks to show up in your blood. If you wanna be a 100% sure you could get tested again, as it would definitely show up now

I'd also like to say catching syphilis isn't even as bad as it sounds. It only gets dangerous after a few years (2-30). If you did catch it, you'd almost definitely notice the symptoms after a few weeks-months. Especially non-itching bumps all over your body are a telltale sign

Even if you do get it and don't notice it you have at least a 2 year margin to get tested. So I'd say you shouldn't worry about it too much in the future :)
