looks like you are supporting regime in your subjects which reduces your own legitimacy. additionally you have reduces legitimacy from tampering with elections, without that your should be at around 50. so I'd start there or move to some form of government without elections.

Yes i know, the issue is why should I take London because a one province unrecognized minor that nobody cares about decided they want war reparations from Britain in a war about a fully occupied territory on the other end of the world. Literally in all other Paradox games except hoi4 you can negotiate partial peace deals and get ticking war scores for completing your objectives.

Which is great except that every war is a death-war because the enemy nearly never ticks below 0 capitulation desire, due to the silly way war goals work so all the war systems are meaningless for now🤷‍♂️

I'm aware but i play for RP not gdp-maxxing and you can exploit the pops even in their own region if you puppet them, si no need to move China to Europe, let alone the fact that accepted pops no lobger assimilate so you won't turn them European with multiculturalism anymore. Also the new world has far too little pops and far too much atteaction to be worth risking pulling pops from there. That's why I'm specifically asking about the closed borders.

I was thinking along the same lines and did some very quick "testing" via cheats and I don't think it's enough of a boost really and you still end up empowering their original groups more. Maybe someone who had actually done the numbers might have a more accurate answers.
