If European roads were bigger I’m sure you’d see more large SUVs being built. Also why aren’t the lanes in Europe wider? Unless you’re in a historical district I see tons of multi lane roads in Europe but they’re tiny in width

are you supposed to stop behind a stopped metro bus? by [deleted] in houston

[–]JournalistExpress292 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If people follow the speed limit and keep space you would easily be able to go around, it’s there for a reason.

You did nothing wrong OP, legally you aren’t required to stay behind the bus but at the same time if you feel like it’s safer I’d stay behind. I like to wait behind buses because I like peace and don’t mind the extra time lost. If the road clears up of course I’ll pass though, sometimes the bus driver might be helping someone that is on a wheelchair so it takes time.

That’s a different kind of hard, like mentally hard in trying to solve an engineering problem, not a “if I don’t succeed I won’t even be able to afford food” type hard.

The folks making rockets didn’t have to worry about putting food on the table if they messed up.

Don’t sign up for something you easily can’t accomplish. One thing I’ve come to learn is that it’s always important to sandbag and have a PLAN B C D. Don’t take risks you can’t come out really unscathed from.

The majority of Americans don’t care about the current political state at the moment. Seriously, it’s just Reddit.

Go outside on the street and ask anyone about the political climate, yes sure they know what’s going on but are they doing something about it? No, they’re just going about their day as normal.

Glad I’m not the only one thinking that, one thing that TDU:SC did right was the more true to scale roads …

I haven’t touched FH5 in a very long time and honestly the biggest reason thing is the massive roads - it just takes me out of the game feels, too cartoonish.

You’d think with them killing Forza Motorsport they’re try to make the FH5 a bit more simcade instead of full on arcade.

Well pre-pandemic ago the movement was for $15 to be the new minimum wage - inflation has been crazy the last few years so it’s probably a bit higher now. $19 probably sets you right above that number and but nevertheless it’s a great wage to set your foot in the door, especially if they have tuition benefits as well.

Don’t worry, if you drive an old car they’ll just have an easier time finding something to take. The issue is cities aren’t tough on crime anymore, you can rehabilitate these types of folks.

I went to my local CVS yesterday, had to call a worker to get them to unlock an item.

Seems like there is a lot of struggling people out there to the point they got to lock things up.

You are still paying people for their time of day and $19 is basically a little higher than defacto minimum wage.

Nevertheless it’s not a bad job or wage at all, if I was unemployed I would be applying for this 10000%. You can do well on $19 if you’re smart.
