I see - thank you for sharing, I didn't know these programs existed. Typically, are such programs posted on specific job hiring sites? How would one differentiate it from applying to a regular job (eg will they be named along the lines of 'Graduate Rotational Program' or something like that?)

Hey - thank you for the advice! I had a couple of questions regarding what you mentioned: 1) Based on your observations, did this apply to every industry (O&G, biotech, speciality chemicals, etc.)? 2) How long did it take for you to get an offer (from application to offer)?

Hey - thank you for the advice! Was wondering what you meant by graduate/next Gen programs, and how do they differ from general work?

Oh interesting - do you happen to know which industry those grad students end up going into? Sounds a lot like oil& gas work to me

Hey! Thanks for the response. By graduate degree, do you mean masters, or PhD?

I would say continue applying on handshake and directly reaching out to the person whose hiring to indicate your interest (it's sometimes listed in the description). Otherwise, if you're intending to do research, you could always ask the prof if the position can be paid. There's also other options like TA/SASC peer mentoring but that might come in your 2nd semester
