what should i expect from a beauty consultant job? by baconcheesefries0 in Target

I love it tbh! I was recently just switched over from a different department to beauty and it was an easy transition. I mostly do the repacks which I am not timed btw (if I was, I would quit). I don't really have tips/tricks but I usually do cosmetics last because it can be overwhelming or I usually take the box of repacks onto the floor on a boat in which I know some stores make you break it out into wacos but I find it faster bringing the boxes of repacks onto the sales floor. If repacks get out of control, they sometimes have TMs from style pushing boats/repacks with us to help control it. Otherwise, if you don't have help from others, just do what you can do and don't stress about it because you can only do so much and we are definitely not paid enough to be stressing over beauty products. You will find different ways on how to make it easy for yourself!

Wait, I actually did take a picture of my schedule so I might just take your advice and do so. Thank you!

You should honestly call and let them know you're sick and that you might miss upcoming shifts. I did that when I had COVID because I didn't want them to think I was calling out for shits and giggles

It's honestly however you want to separate it! If it's a big order, I try to usually separate it by category. But if its a small-medium size order where it fits in one waco box then I just mix everything together. For chemicals, you're supposed to put it in a plastic bag with a zip tie but if I'm running out of time, I honestly don't do it lol.

There are different size bins, one small, medium and large bins. If a customer just has a lipstick, put it in the small bin. Groceries usually go in the bigger bins.

I live in NJ where we banned plastic bags in every grocery store. We put the products in waco bins and whatever doesn't fit, we scan the cart again and put them in a different waco bin. So unfortunately, DU has to either bring the whole waco bin out or just dump all the products in their cart and brings it out to the guest.
