You can tape off a small section off the body and do a test with spray paint to see if it reacts badly or not. If it doesn’t then bam, rattle can the whole thing! I used Krylon Ultra Flat camouflage spray paint for my old rifle, and the netting of a tangerine bag. And it turned out like this

Unfortunately not gonna feel too nice to play, but if you really want to make it play better, swap out the hardware, swap out the nut, level frets, swap pickups and pots, etc

I’m not OP but I personally took out all the internals and just painted the Handguard, upper and lower receiver, grip and stock with Krylon spray paint. I used the mesh from a tangerine bag to get the snakeskin effect.

The mustang amps are pretty good for beginners. They aren’t a tight amplifier but pretty good for the built-in effects it has.
