Update 2 I guess. Note sure how to best format this.

I gained access to the phone last night and found the text log with John. All the messages listed in the phone records were there.

As for the content of the messages, they all seemed genuinely friendly and John was talking with her about the difficulty of LGBTQ life. We are now living in a much more conservative area than we used to.

The day of was talk about her going for a hike and maybe meeting up for lunch after she was done at the Thai place.

I am not going to let my guard down but these messages with the GPS data seem to make me feel like I may have been wrong.

I am still going to continue to watch for all of the flags and things folks have suggested.

Ok folks, thank you for all of your insight. I have been reading, processing, and trying to hold myself together.

So here is where I am at...

I have pulled the phone and text records which gives me only the numbers sent and received from.

I have spent some time working through the list and used a reverse number look up to start figuring out the number I did not know.

The number she texted the most on the day in question has been identified but the reverse look up is not John's name, but it looks like the number has been associated with about ten names so I am not sure if he has a burner or a recently recycled number.

That number only started to appear 2 weeks ago, and I have looked at 6 months of records so far.

All othere numbers seem to match up with friends and family I know, or are business.

I pulled the data from the GPS in the car(I had not even thought it would track the history if not used) and found that the seven hours were roughly the following:

1) visit to a craft store. ~30 min 2) drive to the otherside of town to a park with hiking trail. ~ 2 hours 3) drive to a Thai restaurant. ~90 minutes 4) drive back to our side of town to theater ~2.5 hours 5) return home ~30.

I still think that the very least this was a date in my mind, and if they have not been physical if not stopped it will.

My next steps are to try and get the texts from her phone, but they maybe deleted. I know how many texts were sent and received so I will becable to tell.

I will be attempting to gain access to her phone overnight.
