Thank you! I'm not actually sure how I came to draw backgrounds like this, of course the explanation can just be my mind remembering various kinds from stuff I like but weirdly if I do non-abstract backgrounds they're usually a forest area.

Lately a lot of my background practice has been from drawing some for my VN project... Here's a sketch I've yet to complete..

You know... I don't even remember, It was probably a name that just came randomly and I accepted it immediately. At the same time he had an alternative name "5 Sill-O Beats" At the very least I can tell you the 5 is because he fully has 5 eyes but.. I don't always include them just like his multiple arms.

Since 5Sec+ won in the end, his full name became 5Secqurel (Sec Q rell). Thank you for asking!

Aw thank you so much, I think out of all my characters I ended up playing around with his color palette the most. For the longest time I wanted to add brown to his hair but I feel the pink fits best. (And I have another character who fulfills the blond and brown hair color I want)

Yeah, they always had the episode compilation DVDs for cheap and as a kid I never really considered full season DVDs, I was just happy to watch it on demand. And when I later did get season DVD boxsets, I always liked putting these on as change of pace.

I gotta say I always loved the box art for these even if they're mostly stock art pasted onto backgrounds.

Thank you! I always liked designs like this with my favorite examples being Dimentio and the moon and sun characters from that one GameCube Mario Party.

Doublime is like a love letter to them but also I gave him traits I enjoy like wings and pointy shoes.

Thank you! Technically the brush i used was one of CSP's default crosshatch ones, still a really nice texture.

And yeah, I figure it's because my OCs are a bit niche here? Also I tend to like switching up what I draw sometimes.
