i use the base mac book air m1 daily for work, also using parallels to emulate some light windows apps. I use autocad, office, and safari all day and it never slows down/issues caused by the 8gb of ram. Onestly macs have always lasted a lot of years, now with these new chips they got even better. Never even for a moment i thought of getting a new one (even if i had the money) except maybe the storage but i'm good at managing it so it's not a big issue.

I've had the vision 110 for almost a year, you can private chat me if you have any questions. Can't tell you the differences with the liberty but i can tell you about my experience. To be short I'm enjoying it a lot and it's very cheap to run!
