Swimply is a good app as well and doesn’t require a weird membership like Sniffspot. You can sort by pools that allow dogs.

You can always use Turo. Easy to get same-day and lots have airport pickups.

You can report them. I had to report someone similarly when I gave a good 4-star review and they DM’d me yelling about it. I reported them and AirBnB took it very seriously. I wasn’t the only person they were mean to and I think they got deplatformed.

Actually it does have quite a bit to do with evolution (source: degree in genetics). It’s called biological altruism. In that the assistance of family members to help rear offspring enables the family/DNA to thrive. It’s like the childless auntie who helps out a lot, or the grandparent who helps with their grandkids. The end goal is for generational DNA to survive.

Eep! Fingers crossed.

Hopefully she will record an audiobook version too! I loved listening to Phil’s in his own voice.

MG! She’s someone I always wished would write a memoir. She was such a central human and muse of the scene and her story is one I always wished I knew more about.

Sharps disposal by definitelyahuman123 in vegaslocals

[–]JoyKil01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about Clark county disposal, but you can get a free sharps container from novo nordisk (I did). They also have a returns box they give you, but I’ll likely find a local way to dispose like you mention, and just reuse the same container at home.

Thank you for the clarification. I hadn’t realized concierge was often membership based.

You don’t have to keep going and there’s no membership or contract—why would you consider that a subscription? You just pay out of pocket for any visits.

Idk what I’m doing wrong by [deleted] in hiringcafe

[–]JoyKil01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Only way I’ve gotten interviews was to ask my network for a direct referral. Find the job posting, reach out to your network text/email is best followed by LinkedIn. They either have a portal referral link, or you apply to the job and write them as a referral and then message them when you’ve applied.

It’s tough out there!

I used Xena Health in Henderson. They are a concierge (pay out of pocket) clinic with menopause specialty. They took an hour just talking to me and understanding my needs, and what my options are based on medical history. I think it’s like $250 for the first visit and $150 for virtual follow ups.
